Kurabiye, the messenger of Netam’s full-length album Yabani that is to be released from Kanto Records on June 26th is a time capsule of childhood; waking up with the first daylight, hundreds of games to be discovered, a whole day to be lived, the unlimited excitement and inexhaustible energy, pancakes for breakfast, a big cookie that bakes in the oven, a new riddle and an invented fairytale. Kurabiye that translates as a cookie, was composed by Netam with the longing for childhood and the curiosity for a child’s perception of the world.
